CLUB CACTUS VOLLEYBALL ASSOCIATION RETURNS TO TRAINING JUNIOR VOLLEYBALL

October 1, 2011 - Club Cactus Juniors (est. 1992) is pleased to announce that it will field junior club teams both for both boys and girls for the 2012 season. The club will offer a training program for athletes from ages 8-and-under to 14-and-under. In addition, CCJ offers competitive teams for those athletes from ages 14-and-under to 18-and-under including options for travel teams and regional teams. Club Cactus Volleyball Association also organizes the Cactus Classic Invitational, a three-day volleyball tournament held January 14-16, 2012 at the Tucson Convention Center.
CCJ features an experienced coaching staff, with coaches that are active in and have a vested interest in the Tucson volleyball community. The 2012 staff includes Danny Arias, Kristina Baum-Michaelon, Dane Binder, Noel Carpio, Chelsea Crane, Kathy Franklin, Tim Gallagher, David Garwacki, John Kramkowski, Bill Lang, Aaron Marter, Tim Nordensson, Kristin Reece, Melissa Ohta-Walker, Jessica Trezise, and Cheryl Wojdyla. All coaches are certified through USA Volleyball.
2012 SEASON INFORMATION! CCJ has formed teams for the 2012 club season. There are a few open roster positions for all age levels - if you missed the player evaluations and would like to be placed on one of the teams, please email Bill Lang at bill.lang@comcast.net.
