CLUB CACTUS PREP ACADEMY

CCJ introduces it's first high school Prep Academy while high school sports and volleyball competition are paused in Southern Arizona this Fall.  The Prep Academy specifically designed athletes 14-17; entering grades 9-11 this Fall.  The practices will have curriculum geared towards a typical high school practice for players looking to train and improve their skills while the high school season is postponed.  Sessions will include scrimmages to allow the athletes a chance to play this Fall!

The AIA has postponed the traditional Fall Season as of August 17, 2020.  The AIA Season of Sport is defined when a team plays the first competition and there are currently no matches scheduled for public schools in Southern Arizona.  Therefore, high players would not be jeopardizing their high school eligibility by training with a club or in the academy.  CCJ will monitor all AIA high school activity and ensure that all athletes and coaches are following the AIA Non-Participation By-Laws.

If you have any questions, please contact CCJ Director Bill Lang, who serves on the Arizona Region's Juniors Committee and is also the Chairman for the AIA Volleyball Sports Advisory Committee.
