CLUB CACTUS JUNIORS YOUTH VOLLEYBALL ACADEMY

2022-23 ACADEMY SESSIONS

The Youth Academy holds a Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer session during the USA Volleyball season, which begins September 1 of each year.  All sessions are held at the Sporting Chance Center. 

 

Each session during the school year offers 12 practices and meets twice a week.   The summer session offers 6 practices, meeting twice a week for the first three weeks in June.  While each session works on improvement from the previous session, athletes are not required to register in all of them.  Breaking the season up into smaller sessions allows young athletes to try out the sport and continue training if they enjoy it.

FALL SESSION (SEPTEMBER 2022-OCTOBER 2022)

The Youth Volleyball Academy is specifically designed athletes ages 8-14; or entering grades 5-8 this Fall.

  • DAYS:  Tuesday/Thursday at the Sporting Chance Center

  • TIME: 5:30-7:00 PM

  • DATES (12):   Sept 13, Sept 15, Sept 20, Sept 22, Sept 27, Sept 29, Oct 4, Oct 6, Oct 11, Oct 13, Oct 18, Oct 20

  • ENROLLMENT CAP:  40 athletes

  • SESSION COST: $195/player

  • REGISTRATION LINK: Fall Session

FALL SESSION (ADVANCED ACADEMY)

The Advanced Academy is specifically designed 13U-14U athletes that are preparing for the 2023 Club Volleyball Season. 

  • DAYS:  Tuesday/Thursday at the Sporting Chance Center

  • TIME: 5:30-7:00 PM

  • DATES (12):   Sept 13, Sept 15, Sept 20, Sept 22, Sept 27, Sept 29, Oct 4, Oct 6, Oct 11, Oct 13, Oct 18, Oct 20

  • ENROLLMENT CAP:  32 athletes

  • SESSION COST: $195/player

  • REGISTRATION LINK: Fall Session

WINTER SESSION (JANUARY 2023-FEBRUARY 2023)

The Youth Volleyball Academy is specifically designed athletes ages 8-14; or entering grades 5-8 this Fall.

  • DAYS:  Fridays at the Sporting Chance Center

    • Please note: Due to lack of space at the SCC, the Winter Session is limited to Friday's only.

  • TIME: 6:00-7:30 PM

  • DATES (6):   Jan 20, Jan 27, Feb 3, Feb 17, Feb 24, Mar 3 

  • ENROLLMENT CAP:  40 athletes (depending on court availability at SCC)

  • SESSION COST: $100/player

  • REGISTRATION LINK: Winter Session

SPRING SESSION (MARCH 2023-APRIL/MAY 2023)

The Youth Volleyball Academy is specifically designed athletes ages 8-14; or entering grades 5-8 this Fall.

  • DAYS:  Monday/Thursday at the Sporting Chance Center

  • TIME: 4:30-6:00 PM

  • DATES (12):   Mar 16, Mar 20, Mar 23, Mar 27, Mar 30, Apr 3, Apr 6, Apr 20. Apr 24, Apr 27, May 1, May 4

  • ENROLLMENT CAP:  40 athletes (depending on court availability at SCC)

  • SESSION COST: $195/player

  • REGISTRATION LINK: Spring Session

 

SPRING SESSION: BEACH VOLLEYBALL (MARCH 2023-APRIL/MAY 2023)

The Youth Volleyball Academy is specifically designed athletes ages 8-14; or entering grades 5-8 this Fall.

  • DAYS:  Wednesdays at the Ironwood Ridge Beach Facility

    • Please note: Due to lack of space at the SCC, the Spring Session will introduce a Beach Volleyball curriculum

  • TIME: 6:00-7:30 PM

  • DATES (8):   Mar 22, Mar 29, Apr 5 (TBD), Apr 12, Apr 19, Apr 26, May 3, May 10

  • ENROLLMENT CAP:  32 athletes

  • SESSION COST: $150/player

  • REGISTRATION LINK: Spring Beach Session

SUMMER SESSION (JUNE 2023)

The Youth Volleyball Academy is specifically designed athletes ages 8-14; or entering grades 5-8 this Fall.

  • DAYS:  Monday/Wednesday at the Sporting Chance Center

  • TIME: 4:30-6:00 PM

  • DATES (6):   TBD

  • ENROLLMENT CAP:  64 athletes

  • SESSION COST: $125/player
