CLUB CACTUS JUNIORS YOUTH VOLLEYBALL ACADEMY

READY TO PLAY VOLLEYBALL?

The Youth Volleyball Academy is specifically designed to introduce beginners in Southern Arizona to the exciting sport of volleyball, as well as enhance the skills of our younger players and prepare for the upcoming club season.  We're excited to have you in the gym with us.  Here are a few items to prepare you for the practices.

YOUTH ACADEMY LOCATION:

All practices will be held at CCJ's Training Facility, the Sporting Chance Center (located at 2100 W. Curtis Drive).

YOUTH ACADEMY DATES/TIMES:

All practices sessions are listed on our club's Calendar.  Please confirm the dates/time for each practice.

CHECK-IN PROCEDURE:

Check-in begins fifteen (10) minutes prior to each practice session.  The coaches will allow all athletes to warm-up and get ready on the volleyball courts provided they are available at the SCC.

  • Parents must remain in the lobby or on the bleachers provided.  Due to insurance and liability regulations, only athletes and certified coaches are allowed in the gym (on the wood court)

SUGGESTED ITEMS TO BRING AND/OR WEAR:

  • Volleyball-specific shoes or court shoes

  • T-shirt, volleyball shorts or spandex (no jean shorts or items with zippers)

  • Kneepads (recommended, but not required)

  • Water Bottle (with lid)

  • Backpack or Sports Bag – this is used to keep your personal items in.  Please keep track of this.

PLEASE DO NOT WEAR OR BRING THE FOLLOWING TO ANY PRACTICE SESSIONS

  • Non-court shoes

  • Jewelry (including earrings)

  • Skin lotion.  Lotions tend to transfer to the floor and create slick/slippery spots that are potentially dangerous.

  • Cell phones are to be turned OFF (or set to silent) during all practice sessions

REFUND / CANCELLATION POLICY:

In order to refund any payment, Club Cactus Juniors Volleyball will need a WRITTEN REQUEST FIVE (5) DAYS prior to the start date of the academy session(s).  There will be NO refund of tuition fees after the academy's session has begun for reasons other than documented medical conditions.  Please contact CCJ for more information.
